Safe Operation

At Carlisle TyrFil, we believe that a safe working environment leads to the best results. By following our safety procedures, you’re not just protecting yourself, but also ensuring top-notch performance for your customers.

The TyrFil Flatproofing Process

Inspecting Tires and Wheels

Thoroughly inspect tires and wheels for any defects to ensure they are suitable for the flatproofing process.

Pre-Stretching the Tire Carcass

Pre-stretch the tire carcass overnight to prepare it for the flatproofing material.

Pumping Material

Pump the flatproofing material through the valve stem into the tire, replacing all of the air within.

Pressurizing the Tire

Pressurize the tire to the recommended inflation pressure to ensure optimal performance.

Curing

Cure the tire at the proper time (24-48 hours) and temperature (72° F) to achieve optimum filled tire performance.
